Texas Recycles Day at The Preserve | November 15-17

Sponsored by HEB

From November 15th to 17th, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily, we invite the entire community to take part in Texas Recycles Day at The I-20 Wildlife Preserve. This important event is a great opportunity to support local conservation efforts by recycling your plastic bottles and single-use plastic bags.

Recycling is a simple yet impactful action that helps reduce waste and protect our vital wildlife habitats right here in Texas. Not only will you enjoy the natural beauty of The Preserve during your visit, but you’ll also contribute to a healthier and more sustainable future for generations to come.

Help Us Reach Our Recycling Goal!
We’re aiming to collect 500 pounds of plastic over the course of this event, but we believe that together, we can do more! Let’s stretch for a big goal of 1,000 pounds. Every bottle and bag you bring will bring us closer to protecting more local wildlife and ensuring that our natural spaces thrive.

Why Is Recycling Important?
Protect Local Wildlife: Recycling helps to prevent plastics from polluting habitats and endangering animals.
Conserve Natural Resources: Every item recycled helps reduce the demand for new materials, preserving our planet’s precious resources.
Build a Better Community: When we all work together, we can make a real difference in reducing waste and building a cleaner, healthier community.
