WILD at The Preserve

In the WILD at The Preserve class “Breakfast for a Bird”, learners will learn about the special functions of bird beaks.   Learners will sort and name birds. (Scientific Inquiry) We will collect fallen nature to create a bird nest and make homemade binoculars. (creativity)  Ms. Kari will lead the group in gross motor activities, songs, a nature walk, and scientific reasoning. Each learner will receive their own booklet to extend the lesson at home and beyond.

This session is a rostered class (closed to the public), an application is shared at the beginning of each semester to those who are registered for the education program. Spots in the class are limited. You can register by completing the form here.
